Thanks for the tips and all did go well after my mini lessons here. I was trying to
insert into the pkg-config - WRONG. After this and your help I got it going and I
understand better this system. I really need to set the env variable on startup with
all of the paths. Now xfce4.2.2 is installed.
Many thanks, I also understand about moving. Moving isjust a bad scene, it keeps you
from the good life and Linux.
