Not quite - we pay plenty of income taxes here in NY but the higher prices
here have little to do with the lack of taxation as it does in WA.

(In fact, we pay a large chunk of federal budget but most of the spending
from that is in the "red" states so we actually lose out since we get
less of that money back as federal spending).
