Of course, if you were to move to Seattle, you could borrow twice what
your house is worth just for the down payment. Then you can pay excise
tax for several years on your car license for a monorail that they have
decided not to build, and also for a light rail system that goes from
downtown to nowhere. Taxes can also be paid for a streetcar that /was/
used to service the waterfront, but now is out of service.  Also for the
someday to be constructed streetcar to service the fabulously wealthy
owners of Lake Union condos. And probably for the old  (circa 1962)
monorail that just crashed and is out of commission. Soon you can also
pay taxes on replacing a floating bridge and a viaduct that will also
/not/ help with the unbearable traffic congestion here.

Further, the 3rd runway at Sea-Tac airport is unpaidfor also.

Of course, in order to afford the taxes you can work as a permanent temp
at Microsoft!
