LOL!

Yes, threads like this one (the political portions) bring out the
worst in all of us. Each of us filters the news reporting through
his/her own political stance. I have a conservative bent, and thus I
can tolerate Rush Limbaugh better than Al Franken. Both of them are on
the far edge of things and incapable of understanding or tolerating
centrist viewpoints.

There's plenty of ranting and raving on both ends of the political
spectrum, and the religious fervor of the died-in-the-wool socialists
is an exact match for the fervor of the fundamentalists. I want no
part of either approach. Few in this day and age can remember the
golden mean as a worthwhile approach to life.
