LOL, yeah, try figuring out C way of doing things after YEARS of
COBOL and AppGen programming .. sheeessss ...

Anyway, I have LEARNED 2 ways of doing the same thing here.

For the Record, since SLAG is going to be destined for the LEGIONS
of COBOL and AppGen programmers, I am going to do it the "MATH" way, since
this is instantouesly recognizable by said programmers.

But the HEX stuff is of immense value in some of the other DBM headers
stuff I was going to need to do.

SO to both of Y'all .. I say thanks, 'cause BOTH methods and suggestions
have had a place in SLAG !!!!

ANyway, Gotta run and button down the hatches, Hurricane Katrina is BEARING
down on us and I need to get clients Servers backup'd up ... Never would know
a CAT 5 is on it's way here ... Gusty Breezes, Beautiful sunshine, low humidty,
all belay the wrath headed our way ...

To bad I cannot send some the rain she'll bring over to Skippy ...
