I keep getting the following error message when I run hal-device-manager and
a few other apps from the command line...
** ERROR **: PyGTK (2, 6, 0) required, but (2, 4, 1) found.
aborting...
Aborted
However, pkg-config --modversion pygtk-2.0 output (below)
shows version 2.6.2 installed..
mike at cptnkirk:~ $ pkg-config --modversion pygtk-2.0
2.6.2
I've purged and reinstalled pygtk about 6 times and it failes to clear up
the problem. I can't find where these applications are seeing pygtk 2.4 on
my box so I can get rid of it...
At this point I'm truly busted on this.. I have to come here and ask for help..
Thanks for your time..
mike..
