Hi all,

Since this seems to be a fairly common issue/problem, I thought I would
list down all the links I found, though, truth to tell, I haven't had
much success, but this may benefit some people:

Unified Logons between Windows NT and UNIX using Winbind
http://groups.northwestern.edu/exec/htmldocs/winbind.html

Using (only) Samba to join an NT domain (don't know if this works...)
http://linuxgazette.net/105/price.html

Fedora joining a Active Directory domain
http://redmondmag.com/columns/article.asp?EditorialsID=858

Ubuntu joining an NT domain
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=5409

Debian authenticating to Windows NT Server
http://faculty.acu.edu/~westk/winbind.html

Joining an Active Directory domain
http://www.enterprisenetworkingplanet.com/netos/article.php/3487081

There is also a very good book by John Terpstra.
HTML version here: http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Samba-Guide/
PDF version here: http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/Samba3-ByExample.pdf

Hope this helps! If anyone gets this combination working: Samba +
Winbind + Fedora Core 4 + Win NT4, please let me know how !

Regards.
