[OT] Software patents for the obvious (and not so obvious)

Which is why, on my AppGen replacement system I am working on
(coming along very nicely, thank you), I have abandoned any and
all ideas of storing the "Program Definitions" in XML/XSL format.

Seems M$ has filed another patent for "data presentation/entry"
in XML format ...
