stupid html question

Hi;

I have composed an html page with various gif and jpg files linked in 
the html source.  But I would like to send the whole composed page to a 
friend as one "file" so that when it is opened, it is "self-contained", 
as opposed to the html page and the gif and jpg files located in the 
same directory as the html source.  
Is it possible to do such a thing?
