Our Ohio LinuxFest team is proud to bring to you the second-annual Ohio
LinuxFest!
The Ohio LinuxFest is a free event, open to all interested on a first-come,
first-served basis. The event will be hosted at The Ohio State University in
Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday, October 2nd, from 10:00AM until 6:00PM and with
an hour for lunch. While this is a free event, registration is required so
that we know how many people to expect. Seating is limited, and we encourage
you to register now to reserve your spot.
Our first annual event was hosted at The Ohio State University in Columbus,
Ohio and drew people from throughout the Mid-West: Ohio, Pennsylvania,
Michigan, West Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Illinois. More than 10
Linux Users Groups were represented at the event. This year will be even
bigger and better: more speakers, more topics, more people, and more Linux
brainfood for you to enjoy. We're bringing in some excellent speakers, in
addition to our Birds-of-a-Feather and open lightning talk discussions (more
on that as the event draws closer; register now to keep updated).
We'll have something for everyone: the larger group presentations, the
smaller Birds-of-a-Feather focus groups, plenty of time to meet people with
similar technology and interests and experience, and a chance to explore your
world. The event will be hosted in beautiful Columbus, Ohio, and last year
gave way to carpools and an after-event dinner party, too.
We look forward to seeing you at this year's event!
(Speakers include KeyCorp, Apache, Red Hat, Samba, Novell, and N2Net
(http://www.ohiolinux.org/speakers.html))
See http://www.ohiolinux.org/ for more info and to register. Hope to see some
of you list members there!
