Just back from a couple of happy hours in my local pub(lic House).

Because of the date there are several cask ales available, all of witch (sorry) are "dark" ales. There is Witchfinder, Witch Otter, (don't ask!) and others of the same or similar ilk.

Delightfully, for me anyway, they are light on the palette, unlike many darker or chocolate malt beers, with a fine bitter taste and aftertaste.

Sorry- this may be considered OT by those who only code on caffeine!
