Thunderbird Address Book feature next to useless

Regarding Thunderbird
    Can't export to VCard
    Can't attach an address as a VCard
    Can't copy and paste address text into an email...

VCard project has just begun and no files released yet....

To get the full details of a contact into an email I have resorted to 
exporting my addresses as tsv file and greping it for the contact name...
