Many of us are both hobbyists and admins. I admin AIX 3.2.5 and RHL 7
boxes at work. Both of which will see updates next year (the AIX box
will go away to be replaced with a brand spanking new RS6000). I operate
a FC2 box for home use as mail server/web server/squid
proxy/dansguardian filter/desktop (yes, I want to get a server to
separate these acivities, but...).
I started at home with Caldera 2.3, um, a while ago, and moved through
2.4, 3.1 and 3.1.1 until switching to RHL8.0, FC1 and now FC2. I plan to
update to FC3 (just downloaded Text 3 to install on a laptop that's
currently using FC2).
I've tried Mandrake, but can't remember the version numbers. Never did
like it much...
