I run a vanilla 2.6.8.1 kernel and it's burning just fine. Burned a
KNOPPIX CD just the other day using the old ide_scsi module with sr_mod
(burner accessed as /dev/sr0). Still works. In fact, even though the
ATAPI stuff is supposed to work, I get warnings I didn't like from
cdrecord so I changed back.
