Odd. I'm running gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.8-r3 on an ATI laptop.
"cdrecord dev=ATA:1,0,0 . . . ." works flawlessly. There is a list of
warnings about the 2.6 kernel, but they seem not to mean anything, so I
just ignore them.
