I think that although crossover will run IE, as well as many windows
plug-ins in IE as well as netscape/firefox, visual basic is a whole
other thing. I would be surprised if that worked.
You can get a fully functional 30 trial from crossover
(www.codeweavers.com). I am waiting for the 3.1 release so I can run
iTunes Radio!
Who has a web site that runs visual basic on the client side? Sounds a
bit insane. It is bad enough on the server side. But it should never
leave the server! I would not even call such a document a 'web page'
(meaning it follows w3 guidelines). It is an 'IE page' (meaning it
contains MS-only extensions).
