KDE 3.2/3.3 and SUSE 9.0

OK. I have added the directory as a YAST 'Source of Installation'. I now
see that the KDE 3.3 packages are listed as available.
But, dare I do this? Has anyone else done this? If so, did you loose any
functionality?
I do not have a play system for SUSE 9.0. At least not in easy access.
So, any opinions on this are very appreciated.
