Yes, you are not, and for the most part people on gentoo-user aren't
arrogant either. He's just reacting to the thousands of emails from
newbies who haven't bothered to read the COPIOUS gentoo documentation
before asking their questions. Some of these newbies are just as
poorly behaved as he, ranting and raving when no one will build their
system for them.
