SxS site

The new majority owners of my company have decided that I will move in
to their main office and - use their internet. They are a windows shop
(despite being one of the largest users of our Linux products), and as I
see it only allow http access from the outside. I have little belief
that I will be able to have a box accessible from the outside.
I am not happy with this decision. For one thing, it will end our
support site's plone setup and php-based group and discussion stuff.
Maybe after a while I can get this back. But right now I think the guys
managing their internet and intranet are rather clueless about security.
They only understand the 'totally disable it' method. Maybe when you
have 5000 employees speaking a number of languages, this is not bad. But
I do not think so.
This means that by the end of March, I will not be able to host the SxS
source files. It also means that I will no longer be a mirror. At least
until I sort out who is who in their IT group.
So, we have 4 months to set up a new system to provide this.
Sorry...
