64 bit linux

  a couple of weeks ago someone talking of a 64 bit system. I will be doing the
same next month and want to know what tips and traps to avoid. I would really like
to have a couple of sata drives and put oracle on this system. I was looking
around Suse and did not see a 64 bit Linux. I would prefer not to use Debian, the
users attitude was very antagonistic the last time I was there. What is the best
Linux to use
