I have FC1 is there any reason to upgrade to FC3 please convince me

I think I am missing something, are you saying that FC1 can be upgraded to FC3 
through just yum?  I really don't know and haven't tried anything with a RH 
product since 7.1 or earlier.  They never worked right for me.
