Well, that makes sense. Lots of that stuff would break .conf files and
likely requiring a lot of manual intervention in a short time.
I'm starting to wonder what might happen to Debian. Seems like there is
a steady stream of articles lately complaining about their ridiculously
long release cycle. But even among Debian's critics, I know of no-one
who doesn't hold the Debian project in high regard. I wonder if
something like UserLinux or Ubuntu will eventually absorb Debian.
On the other hand, it seems like Fedora's stock in the community is
increasing. The changes by RH made lots of people mad (me) but the
Fedora project seems to be getting the job done.
