Well, if you really want noobs...
I've put together a 2 hour presentation on home/SOHO desktop Linux use.
Took it to a senior's computer club recently where it was well received
and I sold 20-odd Mandrake Move and Knoppix CDs out of an audience of
100 or so.
Have had only 1 request from that club (so far) to install on a PC, but
I'm refining the presentation a bit and working on a book that will be
reference, log book and place to keep distro CDs. Once that is in hand
I'll be taking the presentation to anyone in my region who can provide
an audience in hope of selling CDs, the book and some services.
Of course I'll be mentioning Linux-sxs as a prime place to learn about
Linux and a place that is friendly to newbies.
I do hope the list will consider this sort of promotion and any
new-comers it may bring to be a good thing!
