48% considering emigrating to Canada because George Bush won; 52%
encouraging the 48% to emigrate to Canada because George Bush won;
100% grateful that *somebody* won.
Me, I'm:
* Compiling kernels and
* Outlining the 3rd edition of Red Hat Linux Networking and System
Administration;
* Plotting what the next kernel book should look like
Meanwhile, at work, I'm:
* Trying to decide how to document the bazillion or so features of CGL
Linux
* How to document our power-up-and-go embedded Linux products
* Trying to understand how our new build system works
* Converting MS Word documents, HTML help files, and SGML source files to
XML (almost done with that, actually)
* Updating the corporate style sheet for product documentation
* Working on XSLT transforms for said XML-based documentation
* Learning a new, odious XML editor (I was comfortable with emacs)
* Integrating document production into our existing build system
* Figuring out how to shoehorn document rendering into the new build
system
* Managing staff and attending meetings
* Other duties as assigned
Kurt
