I have successfully run WP 8 on SuSE 8.2 and SuSE 9.0 using their old
shared library RPM.  I can't say how well it worked since I'm not a great
word processing user (I prefer vi and groff :-), but my customers who had
been using it on Caldera eDesktop 2.4 haven't complained.

Now if we could only get the old WP version that ran on SCO OpenDesktop
that had a straight character interface instead of just the X11 one...
