I tried installing glibc2.2.5 or such in SuSE 8.2.  I used MC to strip 
out the glibc 2.2.5 files from the older SuSE RPM and copied them into a 
directory.  I then wrote a short script with the path (environment 
variable) to the old glibc to start WPO2KL.  It did not work.  The weak 
link is the Fontastic font manager WPO2KL uses; this is the component 
that fails under glibc2.3.2

I also tried some libs "JRT" (from the Corel WPO2KL newsgroup) has made 
available.  He reports success with RH 9,  but cannot get it to print.
