any courier-imap admins

Guys,

I am using courier-imap and am experimenting with shared folders.... I 
want my shared folders to appear in the root of my folder list instead 
of as a subfolder of the folder "shared"......

Any one know how to configure this .... My eyes are probably painted 
on... but I couldn't find the answer in the rather witty commentary on 
shared folders in courier-imaps doco....
