Pretty much requires sendmail.  Theoretically it could work with ie 
Postfix but support-wise I'd be in uncharted (and pretty much 
unsupported by the vendor) territory and I'm not typically inclined 
to put myself on that banana peel if I can avoid it.

Actually the product uses Milter -- which AFAIK is sendmail-specific.
(FYI: the product is Brightmail Enterprise)
