My first attempt at installing FC2 Test 3 on my IBM R40 laptop, which 
had been partitioned for GenToo, couldn't find a place to install and, 
if I read the message it gave me correctly, wanted to complete 
repartition and format the hard drive. So I backed off (it was getting 
late and I was getting tired). I haven't tried since.

Been considering sticking it on my new HDD, if I decide to reinstall 
versus move...
