Hi all
Well, Well Still the old same Collins I see, blaming the poor banned
offlist skippy. Good job the "old boy" has a thick skin.
Just to stuff up all your days The Skip has come back to haunt you all
again. I also had a birthady last wednesday so I now
know even less than I did before, have had my address tatooed on the
forehead so as they know where I live, saves the police.
Got a daughter married off in NZ and spent a while for a holiday, bought
a new motherboard and cpu to enable the full 400mhz
and now I cannot install a usable linux of any type except Knoppix on
CD. The first board had problems and they changed it
over but the new one does not like my Pinnacle PCTV pro and my Nebula
Digitv cards installed at the same time.
The board is a Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro which I am not happy with, so am
trying out an ASUS 7N8X-E as the old one I
swapped for was the same but 333, it handled the cards and linux ok.
Anyone had this problem or seen it at all ?
Of course I am in XP, with XPSP2 installed, have been for the past few
weeks, it is much more stable and is also a great
deal more secure at last. But I am also now looking as Lfs as I did once
before.
