Excel can read XLS and export CSV. That's not the issue.
The ultimate destination for the data is a BBx file (http://www.basis.com --
and no, all the cool ODBC stuff they brag about is not do-able, old hardware
(RS6000 520h) and old O/S (AIX 3.2.5) kinda prevents it) on an old AIX
server. I need something scriptable, and automated, that can be run as a cron
job on my Redhat 7 server (yeah, that's old too...). The Perl module looks
like the best bet, right now, since I can't get xls2csv to work.
