OK, I flopped around a bit trying to find the link I used.
I used the "Advanced Search" option in Google, selecting all
linux-friendly pages.
I used an rpm for SuSE 8.1 which I got here:
http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/suse/8.1/i386/suse/i586/SoundStudio-1.0.6-305.i586.html
and other SuSE rpms here:
http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=SoundStudio
and what appears to be the source I downloaded here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/studio
but I did not try to compile this, but I will on Caldera.
I also saw a new version of this for the Mac and the most recent version
seems to be commercial.
