You're essentially saying that Lindows is the best of the best. Which
just ain't so.
Of the people who are or would seriously consider a move to Linux, very
few of them would give even passing consideration to Lindows. Once
cluefulness begins to set in, the problems with Lindows become too
obvious. Lindows has some good ideas, to be sure. But the end product is
too full of compromises and poor decisions.
Lindows way die or Lindows may live but Linux will press on.
You may not have noticed that Novell and IBM are converting thousands of
desktops to Linux. And there are many others. Somehow the passing of
Lindows is unlikely to change their plans.
