They may be good enough in faetures, but in ease of use, which is how M$ 
makes her money. It's not easy to make samba with printing to work 
reliably (I meant those domain things). I don't see any new game titles 
for xfree86. and Gimp is still not in par with photoshop. KDE/GNOME is 
still very resource demanding.
