I've seen various questions/posts about making OpenOffice produce
PDF. For those of you who need this functionality, I just saw this
(unexamined) entry in the daily Freshmeat newsletter:

About: extendedPDF is an OpenOffice.org macro that converts an OpenOffice
document into a PDF document. The output includes the original document's
headings as PDF bookmarks, and includes the original hyperlinks as PDF
hyperlinks. Document meta-information (such as title, author, and
keywords) is also added.
Changes: Page scanning is now much more reliable, particularly for large
documents. There is also basic support for links to graphics as well as
some other minor bugfixes.
