I've been reading one fm after another and most of the twits (authors)
that claim theirs is a howto for scsi scanner and devfs are sucking
slew_water or just plain suck. I haven't seen any info in their
ramblings that would give anyone insight on setting up devfs.conf to
incorporate a scsi scanner. It really would be nice if the twits that
pass their work off as howto's that reflect only generalizations would
dry up and blow away. This sort of crud has done nothing but waste hours
of my time and I still haven't a clue how to set up devfs.conf for my
scsi scanner. As it is at the moment my scanner is
/dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target6/lun0/generic but seen as a cdrw by devfs.
I'd gladly RTFM more if only the document has info on this.
