Someone noted that at least a few of the British Moslems made a
half-hearted effort to oppose the violence, but this remains pretty much
a singulum amidst the "deafening roar" of silence world-wide.

There are a very few intelligent Moselms who consider this to be a load
of crap and are trying to make a difference. These few find themselves
villified just like infidels.

Got it in one! The general press in the USA (TV and newspaper) is 99%
interested in sensationalism and hammering home an agenda (the war is
wrong, George Bush is the great Satan, and thus any reporting to the
contrary must be suppressed). The Fox network, however, does make an
effort to provide a more balanced viewpoint, as do many (but
certainly not all) of the conservative talk show hosts.
