Which USB port is in use for your palm pilot

lsusb tells you bus# and device#.
bus# seems to incicate the physical port, but device# is just a counter.

The above mentioned numbers are handled via a variable $DEVICE by the 
hotplug scrips - but I can't tell you more about it than I need to get 
my scanner and camera working; some Sunday morning googling should get 
you further.
