I also have a nit to pick. 
I will undoubtedly leave myself open for counter-attack, but the good
professor's own syntax is far from perfect. His text is certainly
readable, but not correct in the classical context of the "Queen's
English." I expected a higher standard from someone who makes his living
teaching English and who publicly admonishes how others use it.
