SO 7 slow to start, again

Well, it happened again.

StarOffice 7 just got slower and slower to start, and
finally wouldn't.

After mucking around a bit, I finally got a new version of
StarOffice 7 to install from the lindows warehouse (third
try, I sure hope they are charging me for each download!)),
and now it opens and runs quick quickly.

There was a thread about this slowness of SO to start a
while back, without any definite resolution. Has anybody
had any good ideas since them?
