Well, this list is full of "I'll try _and_ install ...".  And is a
conjunction that joins two items in a list.  So the author is going to
pull a SCO _and_ install ... rather than making an attempt at installing
... .

Try and -- the worst offenders are the idiots (actors) in Hollywood who
think all intelligent people are as stupid as they are.  It's really
offensive, too, to hear them play roles of intelligent people who would
_never_ make the grammatical errors the actors do while portraying them.
