I know that there are a few on the list (maybe even me a little) so I
thought I'd pass this on. I know Leon will be drooling all over his
keyboard ;-)

It seems that some people just cannot forget WordPerfect, so I forward
this message found on the WP9 for Linux newsgroup.
SUSE and Libranet are the only distro's that include the libs WP8 needs
(shlibs5).
As may be well known, the other WP version for Linux, WP9 (WP Office
2000), can only live with glibc < 2.3.2, which means that it still
works with SuSE 8.1, but not with 8.2 and above.

I posted this info also to the WP8 newsgroup - in a nutshell, Corel has
just produced a fully featured WordPerfect, re-optimized to work on the
latest Linux kernel. And it has its own install engine geared to make
it simple for even newbies to install.
Corel is currently testing the market to see if there is a demand for
WordPerfect for Linux, and is only for sale on eBay. $10 plus $10 S&H.
Just search for Linux WordPerfect and you'll see several offered.
I recommended that Corel send a press-release to all the Linux oriented
websites so people know about this.
