.prx files in Fedora Core

Hi all,

I noticed something strange on my Fedora Core system. Everyday, I'm
getting a few temporary files, each 2 bytes large, auto-generated by my
system. The filenames normally begin with .prx followed by a series of
seemingly random letters and numbers. Has anyone seen this before ?
Which applications are generating these files? I have deleted them
before without causing any problems.
