This email is mostly for the record. As someone else mentioned to me
with their results being good, I installed SuSE 9.0 on my Toshiba
 laptop yesterday and everything went fine. I had to change the
 resolution of the LCD, but other than that, no problem.

Also, the installation was on a Windows XP laptop, so I now have it
setup for dual booting. That too doesn't seem to be a problem.
