Will it run Linux?

FWIW, those specific models are not in my experience.  However, I 
have run everything from COL 2.2 to RH 9 to SuSE 9 PRO on a variety 
of Toshiba machines from a Satellite 2424CD to the current box: a 
Toshiba 1135-S155 with nearly no problems.  Soundcard/PCMCIA ethernet 
cards were the usual problem areas.
