As good as any other system.  I didn't use the install script (didn't
support an XFS install), but it's no less secure than anything else out
of the box.

That said, I changed those nuisance things in inittab that I didn't
like, modified fstab, passwd, etc.  It's Debian at heart, so the non-GUI
stuff was expected.
