Today we have only one announcement, but it's a big one: PlanMaker
2004, our Excel-compatible spreadsheet, has entered public beta
testing!
Right now, you can download the free public beta of PlanMaker for
Windows. The beta versions of PlanMaker for Linux, Pocket PCs,
and Handheld PCs will become available over the course of the
next few weeks.
Handheld PCs? Yes, you read that correctly. We will also release
PlanMaker for Handheld PCs and CE.NET devices like the Psion
Netbook Pro. Only caveat: PlanMaker will, on Handheld PCs, require
a StrongARM or Xscale CPU; we will not ship binaries for SH3, SH4,
or MIPS -- the old C++ compilers for those are just too buggy... :-(
