You only need to make procmail to call spam-assassin to filter out spam. 
Not that difficult for a very basic setup. I am using the combo, but I 
am still figuring out the maildir issues when using a more powerful imap 
server like Courier-IMAP.

I am using UW-IMAP, which doesn't support folders.
