	I'm not sure what you mean by "no security". Running from the CD there's no 
need for security as there's nothing to corrupt. If you mean to the hard 
drive on your PC, then Knoppix is no less secure than any other system, if 
someone gains physical access to your PC. Once Knoppix is installed to your 
hard drive then it is as secure as any other Linux.

It's been a whle since I've done a hard disk install (over a year) and, from 
some postings here & there, I think the install script has improved 
considerably since then. There's some good info available at www.knoppix.net 
-- faq's, user forums, etc. I'd start there.
