Flash Player Error on Fedora Core 1 and Mozilla 1.41 & 1.7b

* Problem:*  Shockwave Flash 6.0 r79 doesn't work and fails to show up 
in the plugins list in mozilla

To display the plugins list

    Help --> About Plugins
    or 
    enter about:plugins in the address window

*Error Message: * LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library 
/home/jamesm/.mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so 
[libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file 
or directory]

You will not see the above error message if you run the standard  
fedora  script  as it hides  stderr out put , however using a download 
version from mozilla and launching  it using the ./run-mozilla.sh script 
allows you to catch the error message.

*Cause:* compat-libstdc++-7.3-2.96.118 rpm package is not installed

*Resolution:* If you have apt then run apt-get install compat-libstdc++ 
or download and install the above package
